When you visit one of our web sites, or use an online service of ours, RK records information necessary to grant the data subject access, to operate the site, and to comply with legal and security requirements relating to the operation of the site, such as passwords, IP address and browser settings. We also collect information about your activities during your visit and to personalize your experience of using the site to, for example, record your preferences and settings and collect statistics to help us improve and develop our products and services.

When a Registrant contacts RK in connection with a request for information, to order a product or service, to request support, to participate in a forum or other collaborative or social tool, we collect the information necessary to respond to the request, to grant access to the product or service, to provide support, and to contact the Registrant. For example, we collect the cardholder's name and contact information, details about the order and the agreement between the cardholder and RK to fulfill, ship and bill the order, or information from customer satisfaction surveys. We retain such information for administrative purposes, in defense of RK's rights, and as part of the relationship with the data subject. When a data subject provides name and contact information to register for such an order, this registration may be used in the future to identify you when you visit our sites. In order-to-order services and products, it may be necessary to register a cardholder identifier, which may also allow us to customize and control the cardholder's privacy settingns

We collect information about the cardholder's use of ROOTKey cloud services to enable the operation of product features, to improve the user experience, to personalize interactions with the cardholder, to inform our customers about general usage of the services, to provide support, and to improve and develop our products and services.

As part of RK's relationship with its prospects, customers, partners and suppliers, professional contact information (such as the name, company contact details, job title or function of its employees, subcontractors, consultants, and authorized holders) is also provided for the purposes of contract management, responding to requests, providing products and services, providing support, billing, and managing the services or relationship.

RK records individual visits to its own facilities (name, identification, and business contact information) and uses video surveillance systems at some locations for the security of persons and property.

Most of the personal data we collect is the result of direct interactions with communication actions and digital presence. When a person registers for an event, we may collect information within the organization and during the event, such as participation in sessions and survey results. We combine the personal data we collect to develop aggregate analysis and business information to conduct our business and for marketing purposes. When you visit our sites or use our services, RK may provide you with personalized information.
